More than 1,500 runners did not want to miss the opportunity to take part in this race, the uniqueness of which lies in the original setting of its route.
Among them is the Palacios Roca team of runners, who for the seventh consecutive year are participating and collaborating in the organisation of this popular race.
This year, 2024, it was celebrated on Sunday, October 6, covering 10 kilometers around the Mercamadrid site, including the interior of the markets specialized in fish, meat, fruit and vegetables.
This space, usually closed to the public, opens its doors on a festive day where the 10-kilometre race through its facilities becomes an occasion to promote Mercamdrid, one of the largest fresh food markets in Europe, and where Félix Palacios has corporate headquarters, a logistics platform and 5 sales stands in the wholesale fruit and vegetable market.
As in other years, the race becomes a festive event where thousands of Madrid residents come with their families to enjoy recreational and sporting activities. And so, as in previous years, Palacios Roca has set up its traditional natural juice stand to treat runners and spectators to the best Felixia products: more than 1,000 litres of fresh juices of extraordinary quality produced in its own facilities in Mercamadrid.
