As in previous years, Palacios Roca maintains collaboration with the Public University of Navarra, providing products and knowledge to the students of the subject “Non-thermal food preservation processes” of the Degree in Innovation of food processes and products.

These are Felixia juices made with high pressure technology, as an example of a product protected by this novel conservation method that inactivates vegetative forms of pathogens and microorganisms.
Felixia juices are subjected to analysis, tasting and contrast with other thermal processes, deducing from this the great advantages of this cutting-edge technology that guarantees food safety while maintaining the physicochemical and organoleptic quality close to a freshly squeezed juice.

Felíxia’s fresh juices, natural juices and natural drinks are made from selected fruit at the right point of ripeness; This is washed, squeezed cold and put into the bottle. All this in an aseptic and refrigerated environment (4oC). This is when high pressure processing (hpp) is applied, which allows the fresh juice to extend its commercial life by up to 20 days while maintaining all its nutritional properties, flavors and aromas. Felíxia juices are 100% natural, which is why it is necessary to maintain the cold chain at all times.
